Grade 2 Listed building situated at the bottom of Clay Hill and built in 1700 it was a food led establishment once owned by the aunt and uncle of Dick Turpin.
PUB REOPENED on 23rd JULY 2018 after refurbishment. But during January 2020, reports of closure. More info required please!
Planning permission requested by Star has been approved for a rear extension and the pub lease is still for sale. So pub not lost completely!!
