  Tonight we are in North Finchley to sample the latest experimental brew from our friends at the London Brewing Company in the Bohemia. This is preceded by a visit to the only Fullers pub in our branch area.

  A visit to High Barnet where the Lord Nelson is under new management with an enthusiastic landlord so expect some interesting ales.

  The Leyton Orient Supporters Club has won many awards for the quality of the real ale served there. There are beer events through the year and this is the last one for Christmas.

  The now famous COBWEB social returns to welcome in the New Year and wipe away those Christmas blues.

• GBG selection meeting Wednesday 7 January 2026 20:00 .

  We have arrived at the time of year where we consider the potential E&B pubs for entry into the 2027 Good Beer Guide. At this stage we are nominating pubs for survey by volunteers. The results of these surveys will determine the final list of pubs. Any Branch member can attend the meeting and make suggestions for pubs to include.
